Did you feel the earth move? It did! Did you hear the explosion? It was deafening! April 6 -10, Panama City, the Republic of Panama, "Un evento que cambiara tu vida", (An event that will change your life) was everything it was billed to be and more! Delegates from Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama gathered Panama City. Twenty Pastors and Ministers from the United States, under the direction of Dr. T.L. Lowery, Assistant General Overseer of the Church of God, traveled to and ministered in the conference. The team was hosted by Central America's Superintendent Ken Anderson and Panama's Overseer, Anibal Munoz. The team members dispersed into area churches, reconvening in the School of Ministry, Leadership Congress and nightly crusade. The meetings were televised all over Central America, Panamanian Public Radio broadcast the sessions live and area newspapers gave full page color coverage of the event. Panamanian Vice-President Arturo Ballarana addressed the session, and the territorial Governor as well. Former Guatemalan President Jorge Serrano and family worshipped with us in the crusade. But by far the greatest victories came at the altars! Hundreds if not thousands were saved, sanctified, filled with the Holy Ghost, healed and thrilled! The night services were held in the ten thousand member Temple of Faith Church, Pastored by Manuel Ruiz. The church was filled to overflowing and the Holy Ghost flowed powerfully.

I was privileged was to minister in Pacora, with Pastor Luis Nunez and Lucha Franco with Pastor Roberto Taton, as well as teaching in the School of Ministry. It would be an understatement to say that every minister from the U.S. came back profoundly changed. There is no doubt we will look back on this event as a truly historic moment in the revival sweeping Central America.

We should be careful to keep Central America in our prayers. One Pastor at our conference was there under a death threat. Two of his brothers have already been killed for their testimony.

In the Province of Herrera we have no Church of God. This area is known as Sin City in Panama.

God transferred a Police Captain from Panama City to Herrera, who will be pioneering a church in Herrera.  Family Worship Center has donated $1,000.00 toward the starting of this new church.  

God is moving the spiritual landscape in Central America. He has raised up an army of committed saints that are moving in the power of the Holy Ghost. This event powerfully impacted thousands and will continue to fan the flames for some time to come!
