Roger R. Woodard ~ Senior Pastor Pastor Roger R. Woodard was born May 15, 1949 in Greenville, Alabama. He is the fourth son of J. R. and Bessie Woodard, Pastor of Chapman, Alabama Church of God. He was called to the ministry in March, 1961, two months prior to his 12th birthday. Frustrated over no opportunities to preach, he organized an open air prayer meeting later that summer, where four were saved. At age twelve, Pastor Woodard assisted a fourteen year old and sixteen year old in pioneering the Church of God in Munford, Alabama, from a prayer meeting held in the living room of a local Baptist couple. During the next six years of education, Pastor Woodard evangelized extensively, receiving his Exhorter Certificate in July 1966. On October 21, 1966, he married Margaret Marie Bales of Garden City, Alabama. Together they pioneered the Church of God, Blountsville, Alabama in October 1967 and Daleville, Alabama in May 1975. Pastor Woodard served as Pastor of eight different congregations in five states ~ Alabama, Chicago Metro, Louisiana, California and North Carolina. |

Personal: Roger and Margaret have two daughters, Molora and Veronica. Margaret is a singer, composer of Gospel Music (BMI). Margaret now serves as Music Director for Family Worship Center, Kings Mountain, North Carolina and full time Grandmother to her wonderful, beautiful, awesome, grandchildren!Molora is married to Garry Kellstrom and has two children; Sophia Antoinette Kellstrom, age five and Spencer Allen Woodard Kellstrom, age 20 months. Molora is a singer and composer of Gospel Music (BMI). She and Garry were in full time ministry for seven years. Molora now serves as Worship Leader and Choir Director at Family Worship Center, Kings Mountain, North Carolina and is also a full-time Mom. Garry is a Sound Engineer and CEO of Sound Advice and is also the Director of Voice of Triumph. Veronica is married to Robert Wright and has two children, Harrison Gage Woodard Wright, age seven and Emma Kansas Wright, age four. Veronica is a singer and composer of Gospel and Country Music (BMI). She and Robert led the musical group “Consumed” from Lee University. Veronica is now a full-time Mom. Robert is an Entrepreneur and musician extraordinaire and is currently writing and playing lead guitar, banjo, etc. with various artists from Nashville.
